Couple accused of harassing Hennepin County officials with $114 billion in bogus liens

A Brooklyn Park man and his wife were charged Wednesday with 47 felony counts in connection with the alleged filing of a slew of bogus and harassing liens worth more than $100 billion against public officials, including Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek and Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman.

Man who shot Minneapolis robber won't be charged

A citizen who pursued an armed robber and fatally shot him last week in south Minneapolis acted in self-defense and will not face criminal charges, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced Friday.

Hennepin Co. Charges 47 Cases Of Voter Fraud

The man who fatally stabbed a Minneapolis teenager earlier this month will not face charges, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced Friday. Tim Jackson was found early Nov. 7 with a stab wound after police were called to E. 28th Street and Hiawatha Avenue S. on a report of a robbery.
