Big City People Who Use Public Transportation- Help Me!?
I’m trying to find a way to go home for Thanksgiving and I live in Minneapolis MN. My home is in Appleton, MN. I’m just trying to find a bus or something that will get me close to any city or town by Appleton so I can have someone pick me up from there.
Do you know of any websites that can help me plan my trip? I thought of metrotransit.org but that only shows you how to move around INSIDE the city not to other cities, towns.

Try Amtrak.
Or Greyhound.

There are a few ways you can go about this.
1) You could post on the rideshare section of craigslist – just be careful. Go to craigslist.org, select your State and then your cities.
2) Find the nearest Grey Hound Stop near your house. Isn’t there a bus stop in Granite falls? http://www.greyhound.com
3) Call your city bus line and ask advice.
4) Consider renting a car. It would probably be like $20 to $40 a day.
